# Best robot lawn mowers for hills (50%+ slopes)

This list is for yards with real hills, and a mower qualifies if the brand rates it for slopes of 50% or more. Published tests often fall short of brand claims, and Notebookcheck's ramp stopped near 70% on two mowers rated for 80%. Leave a margin below the rating, and check how each mower handled wet grass on inclines.
