# Best self cleaning litter boxes with app alerts

This list is for owners who want to track visits, weight and drawer level from a phone. A box qualifies if it works with a brand app. Check which features are free, since some, like Whisker's facial recognition and long history, need a paid membership, and check whether the app needs 2.4 GHz WiFi.
