# Mammotion LUBA error codes, lights and messages

Mammotion LUBA error codes are not published as a numbered list by Mammotion. The maker explains faults through the robot's LED patterns, app messages such as Poor Positioning Status, and support articles, which this page collects.

## Short answer

Mammotion does not publish a numbered error code list for the LUBA in its manuals or Help Center. Instead, the LUBA mini 2 AWD manual explains faults through the robot's side LED: slow blinking red means stopped, low battery, stuck, key not seated or lifted, and fast blinking red means a malfunction or failed update. Positioning faults show in the app as statuses like Float, Single or None, and Mammotion's support site covers each one.

| Light or message | What it means | Fix from Mammotion |
|---|---|---|
| Side LED solid red | Normal operation | Nothing |
| Side LED pulsing red | OTA update in progress, or charging | Wait |
| Side LED slow blinking red | STOP pressed, low battery, robot stuck, security key not seated, or robot lifted, tilted or flipped | Double press to unlock after STOP, recharge, reseat the key, or set the robot back on the ground |
| Side LED fast blinking red | Robot malfunction or failed update | For updates, use a stable network and do not exit the app or power off; for a malfunction, contact support and upload logs |
| Station LED blinking green | Robot is docked | Nothing |
| Station LED solid green | Robot is not in the station | Dock the robot |
| Station LED solid red | Charging station malfunction | Contact support |
| Station LED off | No power | Check the power supply and outlet |
| App: Poor Positioning Status | Not enough satellite signal for accurate position | Give the RTK reference station a clear sky view and check its LED is steady green; move the boundary away from obstacles |
| App: Float or Single | Position accuracy too low for auto mowing (Float 50 to 200 cm, Single meter level) | Clear the sky view for the robot and station; set trees or metal furniture as no go zones |
| App: None | No positioning | Check the robot is not indoors or backed by metal; contact aftersales if it looks defective |

## Why there is no full LUBA code list

The LUBA mini 2 AWD manual has no numbered error table. It explains faults through LED patterns and points you to the Mammotion app, where the robot shows what stopped it. Mammotion's Help Center then has articles for specific messages and problems.

If you see a numbered code in the app that is not covered here, check the Mammotion Help Center at support.mammotion.com, then contact Mammotion with the code and a log upload from the app.

## Positioning errors on RTK models

Mammotion's positioning article says auto mowing runs only in Fix status, which is accurate to under 10 cm. Float, Single and None all stop auto mowing. The app also shows how many satellites the robot and the reference station see; Mammotion says more than 20 co viewing satellites on both L1 and L2 is good for stable positioning.

In our data the LUBA mini 2 AWD uses LiDAR and cameras with no antenna, and the LUBA 3 AWD 3000 and 5000 use network RTK with no physical base. The reference station steps below apply to Mammotion models that use one.

- Place the reference station in the open, with nothing covering it within at least 5 m, or mount it on a wall or roof.

- Check the station has power, its LED is steady green, it is not damaged or waterlogged, and the radio antenna is attached.

- If you replaced the station, pair it with the robot again in the app.

- Move the charging station out of covered spots, and use modify boundary to pull corners away from walls and trees.

## LUBA will not turn on or connect

Mammotion's steps for a LUBA that will not power on are to put it on the charging station, unplug and reinsert the key if the station LED stays solid green, and then factory reset. Send it in if the battery stays at 0% after long charging.

If the app cannot connect over Bluetooth, turn the LUBA off, unplug and reinsert the key, turn it back on, and restart the app. Mammotion suggests checking that a device named Luba shows up in your phone's Bluetooth scan to rule out the robot.

## When to contact support

Contact Mammotion for a fast blinking red side LED that does not clear, a solid red station LED, a None positioning status that looks like a hardware fault, or a battery stuck at 0%. Upload logs from the app and have the serial number and proof of purchase ready. If you bought from a dealer, the manual says to contact the dealer first.

In our data both the LUBA 3 AWD and the LUBA mini 2 AWD carry a 3 year warranty. Mammotion says you pay shipping to the service center.

## Questions people ask

### Why is my Mammotion LUBA blinking red?

Slow blinking red means the STOP button was pressed, the battery is low, the robot is stuck, the security key is not seated, or it was lifted or flipped. Fast blinking red means a malfunction or a failed update.

### What does Poor Positioning Status mean on a LUBA?

The robot or its RTK reference station is not getting a strong enough satellite signal. Give the station a clear view of the sky, check its LED is steady green, and keep boundaries away from tall obstacles.

### Does Mammotion publish a list of LUBA error codes?

Not in the LUBA mini 2 AWD manual or as a single list in its Help Center. Mammotion explains faults through LED patterns, app messages and individual support articles.

### How do I reset a Mammotion LUBA?

Mammotion's Help Center has a factory reset guide. Try reinserting the key and restarting the app first, since a factory reset is the last step in Mammotion's troubleshooting order.
