# Robot that picks up clutter and tidies: what is on sale, what is a preorder, what is a demo

The only clutter picking robot on sale in US stores as of October 2026 is Roborock's Saros Z70, a robot vacuum with an arm that lifts socks and tissues under 300 g, and reviewers found it unreliable. Tidying robots from Weave, Flourish and 1X take preorders but had not reached homes. Matic avoids clutter rather than picking it up.

## Short answer

As of October 23, 2026, the one tidying robot you can buy off the shelf is the Roborock Saros Z70 ($2,599 list, seen at $1,299.99 in February 2026). Its arm picks up light items like socks, sandals and tissues on hard floors, but Tech Advisor found the arm unreliable. Robots built to tidy whole rooms, the Weave Isaac 1 ($7,999), Flourish 1 ($3,555) and 1X NEO ($20,000), are preorders with no confirmed customer deliveries yet. The only humanoid tidying you can book today, Tau Robotics in San Francisco at $30 an hour, is remote controlled by people.

## On sale now: Roborock Saros Z70, a vacuum with an arm

The Saros Z70 is a robot vacuum and mop with a folding arm on top. Roborock launched it at CES 2025. Its arm grabs socks, sandals, small towels and crumpled tissues and moves them to a spot you choose. Objects must weigh under 300 g, about 10.6 oz.

The list price is $2,599. The Gadgeteer reported it selling for $1,299.99 at Roborock, Amazon and Best Buy in February 2026, so check for deals.

Reviews of the arm are rough. Tech Advisor saw it pick up a sock and put it back in the same spot, bump into a radiator and a mirror with the arm out, and shut down. Its verdict: an excellent vacuum, but the headline feature does not work reliably. PCMag, cited by The Gadgeteer, said items must be balled up, sit on hard floors away from walls and furniture, and that the arm does not work on carpet. Buy it as a top vacuum, not as a tidying robot.

## Coming: Dreame Cyber10 Ultra

Dreame showed the Cyber10 Ultra at CES 2026. Its claw lifts up to 500 g, can move shoes and clothes to a set place, and can grab cleaning tools from its dock. Tom's Guide watched it move soft balls and reported an expected price around $2,000 that Dreame had not confirmed. As of late August 2026, Dreame had not published a US price or release date, and we found no independent review.

## Matic: it avoids clutter, it does not pick it up

Matic is often mentioned in tidying lists, but it is a camera based vacuum mop. TechRadar reported that it sorts what it sees into dirt and non dirt and actively avoids anything that is not dirt. It has no arm.

The price was $1,245 in August 2026, and the company said it would rise to $1,495 in early September 2026. Matic has sold over 13,000 units. Its next robot is described as a trusted organizer, but no details, price or date were given.

## Preorders built to tidy: Flourish 1, Weave Isaac 1, 1X NEO

Flourish 1 is the cheapest at $3,555, for one of 50 numbered units due in December 2026. It is a short wheeled robot with two arms that lifts up to 3.3 lb. You teach each chore by driving its arms with your phone, and Flourish lists putting away shoes, picking up toys and moving clothes to a basket. Flourish says a taught task works about 80% of the time. It is sold without a warranty.

Weave Isaac 1 costs $7,999 or $449 a month, with a $250 refundable deposit. Its Daily Reset routine makes beds and puts toys, shoes and clutter back where they go. Weave says first shipments begin in fall 2026 in California, and it is autonomous by default with teleoperation when needed. We found no report of a delivered unit as of October 21, 2026.

The 1X NEO humanoid costs $20,000 or $499 a month. 1X lists tidying rooms and organizing shelves, and owners can schedule a remote 1X Expert for chores NEO does not know. In the Wall Street Journal's October 2025 demo, every task was run by a human in a VR headset, Decrypt reported. As of October 15, 2026, 1X still said only "US Deliveries start 2026."

## Betas, demos and services: Sunday Memo, Figure, Tau

Sunday's Memo has no price and is not for sale. About 50 homes are being picked for a free beta in late 2026. Its strongest demos are clearing tables, loading dishwashers and folding laundry, not general floor pickup.

Figure released its Helix 2.5 AI in September 2026 and said robots tidied living rooms, folded towels and made beds in 30 rented Bay Area homes. By Figure's own count, first tries succeeded 56% of the time. Figure has no price or order page for homes.

Tau Robotics is the one humanoid tidying service you can book. Euronews reported in September 2026 that it charges $30 an hour in San Francisco and that its robots clear clutter and move baskets. Each robot is controlled remotely by a trained person, so this is teleoperation, not autonomy.

## Why picking up clutter is so hard

A vacuum only needs to avoid things. A tidying robot must recognize each item, grip it without crushing it, and know where it belongs. Socks, Lego, cables and paper all need different grips. UC Berkeley's Ken Goldberg told ABC7 that picking objects off the floor remains very difficult. That is why today's products either limit what they lift, like the Z70, or ask you to teach each task, like Flourish, or bring in a remote human, like 1X, Weave and Tau.

## How to judge a tidying robot

- Ask what it can lift. The Z70 tops out at 300 g and Flourish 1 at 3.3 lb.

- Ask if it works on carpet. The Z70 arm does not.

- Ask how it knows where things go. Flourish needs you to teach each spot.

- Ask who is driving. 1X, Weave and Tau all use remote people to some degree.

- Ask for a success rate. Flourish claims about 80% and Figure reported 56%, both from their own tests.

- Look for a review of a delivered unit, not a trade show video.

## Buy now or wait

Buy the Saros Z70 only if you want a premium robot vacuum and treat the arm as a bonus. If you only want a vacuum that steers around clutter, Matic or a cheaper model on our floor list costs less. For real room tidying, a refundable deposit on Weave Isaac 1 or 1X NEO holds a spot at low risk. Flourish 1 suits tinkerers with money they can afford to lose. Everyone else should wait for owner reviews in 2027.

## Questions people ask

### Is there a robot that picks up clutter?

Yes, in a limited way. The Roborock Saros Z70 robot vacuum has an arm that picks up socks, sandals and tissues under 300 g on hard floors. Reviewers found it unreliable. Robots that tidy whole rooms are still preorders as of October 2026.

### Does Matic pick up toys and socks?

No. Matic is a vacuum mop that uses cameras to avoid objects that are not dirt. It has no arm. Its price was set to rise from $1,245 to $1,495 in September 2026.

### How much does a tidying robot cost?

The Saros Z70 lists at $2,599 and has sold for $1,299.99. Flourish 1 is $3,555, Weave Isaac 1 is $7,999 or $449 a month, and the 1X NEO is $20,000 or $499 a month.

### Can the Saros Z70 pick up Lego or cables?

Roborock pitches it for socks, sandals, small towels and tissues. Objects must be under 300 g, on hard floors, and away from walls. We found no claim for small bricks or cables.

### Are tidying robots remote controlled?

Some are. 1X lets owners book a remote operator for NEO, Weave uses teleoperation when Isaac 1 gets stuck, and Tau Robotics' humanoids are fully remote controlled. Flourish says its robot repeats tasks you taught it on its own.

### When will robots tidy my whole house?

Weave and Flourish say first deliveries arrive in fall and December 2026. Figure's CEO suggests homes in 2027. Wait for independent reviews of delivered units before paying in full.
