## Short answer

Memo has no price and is not for sale as of October 2026. Sunday is picking about 50 households for a free application based Founding Family beta, with a goal of reaching homes by Thanksgiving 2026, and says sales start only after the beta. Sunday says a hand built unit costs about $20,000 today and that scale should cut costs at least 50%, with final pricing announced closer to launch. The dish, glass and laundry demos are strong, but every number so far comes from Sunday, not an independent test.

## What Memo costs

Sunday has not set a price as of October 2026. Its website says one hand built Memo costs about $20,000 today, that mass production should cut costs by at least 50%, and that final pricing will be announced closer to launch. A build cost is not a sale price, so do not read $20,000 as the retail number.

Sacra, a research firm, reports that Sunday is aiming for a price below $10,000 at scale and is thinking about either a sale or a monthly lease. Sunday itself has not confirmed a price, a lease, or a subscription. Some robot directories show their own price guesses, such as $10,000 on Humanoid.guide. Those are not from Sunday.

The beta is free to apply for. Sunday's launch release in November 2025 said 50 households would get individually numbered robots and direct support. We found no published fee for beta families as of October 21, 2026.

## Can you buy Memo, and when does it ship?

No. Sunday's site says Memo will not go on sale until beta testing ends. The only way to get one in 2026 is to be picked for the Founding Family beta.

Sunday opened beta applications on November 19, 2025. When it raised $165 million at a $1.15 billion valuation on March 12, 2026, its press release headline promised its first autonomous robots "by Thanksgiving," and Humanoids Daily reported the goal of reaching real homes by Thanksgiving 2026. TechCrunch reported about 1,000 people on the waitlist, and Sunday's release said it had received thousands of beta applications. In July 2026, Sunday said the beta would start this fall.

As of October 21, 2026, we found no public report that beta units have reached homes. Sunday has not given a date for general sale. Sunday's release said it plans to learn from the beta before scaling to thousands of households.

## What Memo can do, according to Sunday

Memo is not a walking humanoid. It is a wheeled robot with two arms, a soft silicone shell, a face and a ball cap. A telescoping body lets it reach low and high. Sunday trains it with data from paid "Memory Developers" who wear its Skill Capture Glove while doing chores in their own homes, about 10 million recorded episodes from more than 500 homes, according to Sunday. These are maker claims:

- Dishes: clears plates, glasses and napkins, scrapes scraps, and loads and runs the dishwasher

- Glassware: Sunday says it broke zero wine glasses across 20+ live demos

- Coffee: pulls an espresso shot

- Laundry: folds socks and clothes; in July 2026 Sunday reported 778 of 785 folds succeeded across 9 garment types in homes it had not trained in

- A 33 step table to dishwasher demo with 21 objects and over 130 feet of driving, per eWeek

- Rests at about 4 ft and reaches from the floor to about 7 ft

- Moves at about half of a person's natural pace

- Color options and hats

## What it cannot do yet, and the limits of the data

Sunday itself says reliability in ordinary homes is still improving. The laundry numbers came from homes Sunday chose, on a task Sunday chose, and a median fold took 2 minutes 13 seconds. Humanoid.guide noted that outside testers still need to repeat the results.

Sunday has not published weight, battery life, payload, noise or Wi-Fi details. Some wikis and directories list figures like 77 kg and 4 hours of run time, but we could not trace them to Sunday, so we do not rely on them. Memo has wheels, so stairs are not part of the pitch.

No reporter or reviewer has published a hands on test in their own home as of October 21, 2026. Every number here comes from Sunday.

## Teleoperation and privacy

Sunday's site says Memo does not learn through teleoperation in your home. Its training data comes from glove wearers, not from cameras watching beta families.

There is one nuance. DigitalToday, citing Business Insider's July 2026 report, said Memo is meant to work on its own, with remote operators stepping in only when a user asks for help. Sunday said it will not collect data from homes during those remote sessions or use it for training. CEO Tony Zhao said "Full autonomy is the best way to earn user trust." So a person may see through Memo's cameras if you request help.

Sunday has not published a detailed privacy policy for Memo owners that we could find. If you are picked for the beta, ask what Memo records, where it is stored, and who can view it.

## Safety

Sunday says Memo's arms use compliant control, so they give way if you push them during a task. It says Memo will not drop or fall if power is cut, because the wheeled base is stable on its own, and that it is safe around children. Sunday's July 2026 laundry tests included a child playing nearby. These are maker claims. Sunday has not listed any safety certifications.

## Should you apply?

If you want to be an early tester and do not mind bugs, applying costs nothing. Just know that only about 50 homes will be picked in the first round.

If you want to buy a home robot with a price and a delivery date, Memo is not there yet. See our list of every home humanoid on sale or preorder, our 1X NEO guide, and our guide to robots that fold laundry.
