- Our score: 9.1 out of 10
- Price: $360 (checked Nov 4, 2026)
- Status: on sale
- Best for: owners who want app scheduling
- Skip if: you get heavy leaf fall

## Verdict

The skimmer to get if you want an app, schedules and both solar and plug in charging. PCWorld found the battery barely dips in a day of use, but the motor is slow and it collected about 80% of test leaves in 3.5 hours. Aiper sells it as the EcoSurfer S2; buyers who only need a basic solar skimmer may do better with a simpler model.

## Cons

- Slow and slightly underpowered (PCWorld)
- Basket is hard to remove and smaller than the S1

No. Aiper says it charges by solar or the included DC adapter, and runs up to 35 hours on an adapter charge.

### Has it been recalled?

The Pool Nerd notes the S2 is not part of Aiper's recalls of the Seagull Pro and Elite Pro cordless pool vacuums.
