- Status: on sale
- Best for: small flat lawns on a tight budget

## Verdict

The M9 is one of the cheapest RTK mowers with camera obstacle avoidance, and both testers found it quiet, easy to set up and neat on a tidy lawn. It struggles in thick or tall grass, leaves a border strip and can lose its way after a mishap. Buy it for a small, flat, well kept lawn; skip it for rough or overgrown yards.

## Pros

- $699 on the Anthbot store
- Very quiet, about 60 dB measured

## Cons

- Stalls in thick, tall or wet grass
- Leaves a 15 to 20 cm uncut border
- Two wheel drive wanders on rough ground
- NetRTK needs a paid 4G plan
- Lost position after driving off a ledge in testing

## Questions buyers ask

### Is there a subscription?

Only if you use NetRTK over 4G. GadgetReview reports $39.99 a year after the free trial. The included RTK base station works without it.

### Can it cut overgrown grass?

Not well. GadgetReview says the app advises getting the lawn under 7 cm first, and both testers saw it struggle in thick grass.

### Does it mow to the edge?

No. GadgetReview found a 15 to 20 cm band left uncut along borders.
