## Verdict

A cheap way into Beatbot's solar skimmers, with the same 9 L basket and 10,000 mAh battery as pricier models. Reviewed found its basket never overflowed between daily checks, but it drives a random path and the plug in charger costs extra. Buy it if leaves land on your pool every day; skip it for a covered pool with little surface debris.

## Pros

- Large 9 L basket
- Solar charging plus 28 h rated battery
- Stays at the surface, so the app keeps its connection
- 3 year warranty

## Cons

- Plug in charger sold separately
- Random path, no S-path planning
- Only skims the surface
- No water clarifier dispenser

## Questions buyers ask

### Does it come with a charger?

No. Beatbot says the charger is sold separately, and Reviewed flagged this as a con. The solar panel charges it in sun.

### Does it clean the pool floor?

No. It only skims the water surface, so you still need a floor robot or other cleaner for the bottom.

### Can it run under a pool cover?

Beatbot says yes if the water sits about 15 cm (5.9 in) below the cover, but solar charging will not work there.
