## Verdict

The Saturn 4 Ultra 16K prints very fine detail with a 10 inch 16K screen, a heated vat and an AI camera that flags failed prints. It is a strong pick for miniatures, figurines and jewelry models, and the current $399 sale price is low for this class. Skip it if you cannot ventilate a room for resin fumes or you want large, tough functional parts, which suit an FDM printer better.

## Questions buyers ask

### Is the 16K worth it over the 12K Saturn 4 Ultra?

GamingTrend says the detail gain is hard to see without a microscope, but it still rated the 16K very highly. Buy whichever is cheaper if you print mostly larger models.

### Do I need a wash and cure station?

Resin prints must be washed and UV cured. A station like the Mercury Plus 3.0 makes this easier; CNX Software saw it at $129.99.

### What resins can it use?

Elegoo lists standard, water washable, ABS like, plant based and tough 405 nm resins.
