## Verdict

The 435X AWD is still the go to Husqvarna for very steep lawns, and testers found it quiet and precise once installed. It needs a buried boundary wire and is expensive, and Tom's Guide's first unit needed a motor swap. Most flat or gently sloped yards are better served by a cheaper wire free mower.

## Pros

- Climbs slopes up to 70%
- Very quiet in both tests
- Built in 4G with GPS theft tracking
- Long track record since 2019

## Cons

- Needs a buried boundary wire, usually pro installed
- Very expensive
- Random cut pattern, no stripes
- Tom's Guide's first unit had a bad motor
