## Verdict

The LiDAX Ultra 1000 is a fair price way to get LiDAR mapping without a wire or an RTK antenna on a small, mostly flat lawn. Testers disagree on how well it works: PCtipp praised its cut, edges and obstacle handling, while inside digital found it hit flat objects and left about 10 cm uncut at edges. Skip it if your yard is steep, soft or bigger than a quarter acre.

## Pros

- No wire and no RTK antenna
- LiDAR works under tree cover
- Clean, even cut in both tests
- Two maps and up to 150 zones
- Rated IPX6

## Cons

- Short 60 to 80 min runtime on the US spec sheet
- Testers split on obstacle avoidance
- Edge gap of about 10 cm in one test, under 3 cm claimed
- Can dig tracks in soft ground
- 4G tracking needs an optional module

## Questions buyers ask

### Does it need an RTK antenna or boundary wire?

No. It navigates with 360° LiDAR and a camera, so there is no wire and no antenna to install.

### How close does it cut to edges?

MOVA claims within 2 in. PCtipp reported under 3 cm with UltraTrim switched on, but inside digital measured about 10 cm in its garden.

### Can it handle hills?

MOVA rates it for 45% (24°) slopes and PCtipp confirmed that. It is rear wheel drive, and inside digital saw it dig into soft, uneven ground.
