## Verdict

The X315 brings the fast X3 platform to half acre lawns, and two independent testers found its navigation and obstacle detection reliable. Without the add on trimmer it leaves an uncut strip along edges, and Notebookcheck's unit could not reliably climb its rated 50% slope. Skip it for very small lawns, where cheaper i series mowers do the job.

## Pros

- Fast, systematic lane mowing
- Reliable obstacle detection in two tests
- Quick 1 hour recharge
- Large onboard display
- Network RTK often avoids an antenna install

## Cons

- Leaves an uncut edge strip without the trimmer
- Rated slope not reached in Notebookcheck's ramp test
- High energy use for a mower this size
- Store page shows two different prices
