A strong value now that Ecovacs lists it at $399 with the station. TechRadar got very dirty windows clean in one cycle and the robot never lost grip. Corners still need a hand wipe, and newer W2S models claim more suction.

The most complete window robot sold in the US right now, because the station washes the pad between panes and the battery frees it from wall outlets. It makes sense for homes with lots of large or hard to reach glass. If you have a few ordinary windows, reviewers agree a squeegee is cheaper and often faster.

What reviewers found

Ecovacs Winbot W2 Pro Omni

  • TechRadar (Performance 5/5): Very dirty windows came clean in one cycle; worked on mirrors and shower doors; never lost suction; cloth cannot reach the very corners. Source

Ecovacs Winbot W3 Omni

  • Gizmodo (via Gizmodo Japan translation): Cleaned a 4 by 3.5 ft window in about 2 minutes in Fast mode, but left streaks, missed parts of windows with tapered frames and once stopped after cleaning only one corner. Reviewer judged it hard to justify at $700. Source
  • CyberShack (4.5/5): Results were better than hand cleaning with precise edge coverage over several weeks; left a faint outline where the pad stops and sometimes reported being stuck. Source
  • TechRadar (Netherlands): Station returned a clean, damp pad in about 1 to 1.5 minutes; good on normal dirt and edges, heavy build up still needed manual work. Source
