Dreame D20 Plus
Best for pet owners with carpet on a budgetBudget LiDAR robot with a tangle resistant dual brush and a 5 L bag dock
Robot vacuums are the most common home robot. The best now empty their own bin, wash their own mop and steer around socks and cables. We rank them on published test scores plus value, with prices checked daily. How we score.
Budget LiDAR robot with a tangle resistant dual brush and a 5 L bag dock
Cheap LiDAR robot with a bagged auto empty dock
Ranks first on solid scores plus the lowest price here. nextpit gave it 4.5/5 and Blacktubi 8.6/10, both for precise LiDAR mapping and strong suction for the money. It has no camera, so it bumps objects and can stick on cables, and Tom's Guide measured only 67.8% pet hair pickup on carpet.
Ultra slim no app robot vacuum for under $200
Low cost full dock combo with hot water mop washing
Quiet mop focused combo that compresses dust into a bag in the robot
Quiet, long running all in one robot at a midrange price
Techaeris scored it 9.4/10, the best single score here, for strong suction, excellent mopping and up to 210 minutes on hardwood. It ranks second because it costs about $300 more than the Tapo and has only one scored review. Techaeris saw it miss flat objects under 2 cm such as cords.
Ecovacs' newest roller mop flagship with a bagless dock and a physical camera cover
Roller mop robot with top tier suction and pet hair pickup for about $650
Top scoring roller mop robot in Vacuum Wars testing, often near $550
Camera guided combo with pressurized spinning mops and full dock
Roller mop flagship with a bagless dock, best for hard floors
Vacuum Wars gave it 3.78/5 and TechReviewer 8.3/10, with strong roller mopping and 23 of 24 obstacles avoided in Vacuum Wars testing. It ranks below cheaper models because it costs $1,499.99 on the Ecovacs store, and Gizmodo saw it struggle with cables.
Former Vacuum Wars #1 with tall threshold climbing and a 3 year warranty
Affordable Eufy roller mop robot with standout mopping and pet hair results
Lower cost Qrevo Curv with excellent carpet pickup and a hot water mop wash
Roller mop robot for mostly hard floor homes at a midrange price
CyberShack gave it 8.7/10 for 91% to 95% hard floor pickup, and Vacuum Wars 3.64/5. It is the strongest midrange vacuum here, but Vacuum Wars scored its roller mop well below average and Gizmodo saw edge gaps of around 8 inches at times.
Hands off vacuum and mop with a bagless 60 day dock under $600
Vacuum Wars gave it 3.36/5, above average on carpet pet hair and dried stains but below average on battery and navigation. Its bagless base means no bags to buy. TechRadar found it left too much water on wood floors.
Narwal's 2026 flagship with a hot water track mop and strong obstacle avoidance
New 2026 Roborock with top carpet cleaning and a hot water mop wash
Slim Dreame flagship with heated mops and a 3 year warranty
The top flagship on test results: Vacuum Wars gave it 4.01/5 and its number 1 spot, and Tom's Guide 5/5 with 100% hair pickup on hard floors. It ranks sixth only because it is the most expensive robot here. Android Authority saw its mop pads pop off on bunched rugs.
Slim Roborock flagship with a folding arm that picks up small items off the floor
Ultra slim Roborock flagship with top suction and threshold climbing
Vacuum Wars gave it 3.81/5 and CGMagazine 8.5/10, with a record 57 mm threshold climb and no LiDAR turret, so it fits under low furniture. It costs $1,599.99. Tom's Guide found its mopping streaky and patchy.
Eufy's roller mop flagship with perfect obstacle avoidance scores
Vacuum Wars gave it 3.91/5 and a perfect 24 of 24 on obstacles, the best avoidance here. It has only one scored review and costs $1,599.99, which puts it eighth. Vacuum Wars rated its dried stain mopping below average.
LiDAR Roomba that compacts dirt onboard instead of using a big dock
Dreame flagship whose dock swaps between three mop pad types and three cleaning solutions
Bagless self emptying LiDAR robot for everyday vacuuming
Its only overall score is 1.87/5 from Vacuum Wars, for below average suction and slow navigation, though reviewers found real world cleaning solid. It has a bagless dock but no obstacle recognition. TechRadar got just over an hour at max suction.
Strong suction LiDAR robot with a bagged auto empty dock for about $250
Tiny self emptying robot for small, furniture packed homes
Not scored yet because no review we found gave an overall number. TechRadar found its navigation fast and accurate for small apartments, but it has no water tank, only a wet wipe attachment, and reviewers saw it run over cables and socks.
iRobot's cheapest LiDAR Roomba with a 75 day auto empty dock
Budget LiDAR robot with top carpet scores and a bag dock
Mid range LiDAR combo with an extending mop arm and full dock
iRobot's 2026 roller mop Roomba with a hot wash, 90 day dock
Not scored yet because no review we found gave an overall number. Gizmodo liked its streak free roller mop, while Tom's Guide found hardwood hair pickup of 44% and called it hard to recommend. iRobot was sold to Picea in January 2026 after a Chapter 11 case.
Premium combo that steps over 4 cm sills and lowers its LiDAR
Roller mop combo whose dock hides a portable carpet spot cleaner
LiDAR Shark with a bagless HEPA self empty base, no bags to buy
The Tapo RV30 Max Plus wins on value. nextpit gave it 4.5/5 and Blacktubi 8.6/10, and at $249.99 it is the cheapest robot here with a self emptying bag dock. The Narwal Freo Z10 Turbo scored higher in a single review, 9.4/10 from Techaeris, and it mops far better with spinning pads that lift on carpet, but it costs about $300 more. Pick the Tapo for hard floor homes on a tight budget. Pick the Narwal if you want real mopping and longer runtime for a bigger home.
The order comes from published reviews that gave an overall numeric rating, from Vacuum Wars, CGMagazine, Tom's Guide, TechReviewer, CyberShack, Techaeris, nextpit and Blacktubi. Their average counts for 70% of the score. The other 30% is value, based on where each price sits within this list, so cheaper robots gain points. Reviews without an overall number, including TechRadar subscores and Tom's Guide test percentages, inform the text but not the score, so two robots are not ranked yet. Full method.
