The cheapest way into the W2S line, with the same suction claim and edge scrubber as the Omni. KultureGeek found it cleaned indoor glass well in one pass but noted you manage the cord yourself. Check what is in the box before buying, since Ecovacs US does not list the contents.

The most complete window robot sold in the US right now, because the station washes the pad between panes and the battery frees it from wall outlets. It makes sense for homes with lots of large or hard to reach glass. If you have a few ordinary windows, reviewers agree a squeegee is cheaper and often faster.

What reviewers found

Ecovacs Winbot W2S

  • KultureGeek (8/10): Tested the version without station: indoor windows came out very clean in one pass, about 2 to 3 min per window, about 65 dB(A) at 1 m; heavy grime needed scraping first. Source

Ecovacs Winbot W3 Omni

  • Gizmodo (via Gizmodo Japan translation): Cleaned a 4 by 3.5 ft window in about 2 minutes in Fast mode, but left streaks, missed parts of windows with tapered frames and once stopped after cleaning only one corner. Reviewer judged it hard to justify at $700. Source
  • CyberShack (4.5/5): Results were better than hand cleaning with precise edge coverage over several weeks; left a faint outline where the pad stops and sometimes reported being stuck. Source
  • TechRadar (Netherlands): Station returned a clean, damp pad in about 1 to 1.5 minutes; good on normal dirt and edges, heavy build up still needed manual work. Source
