Quick verdict · checked Nov 3, 2026

A simple, low cost LiDAR robot that vacuums well and empties itself into a bag that lasts months. Android Authority and PCWorld both liked its navigation and value. Skip it if you have loose rugs, cables or toys on the floor, or want real mopping, since it has no camera and only a basic drag pad.

Best for: hard floor homes on a budget that want auto empty. Skip if: you need real mopping or camera obstacle avoidance.

  • Reliable LiDAR navigation in two reviews
  • Low 3.7 in height fits under furniture

Cons

  • No camera, so it pushes small rugs and objects

  • Louder than average per both reviewers
  • Ongoing cost of dust bags

What independent reviewers found

Tested at home over several runs: cleaned about 400 sq ft in 48 min on 80% battery, then about 463 sq ft in 57 min on 73%. Navigation was good, but it shoved angled leg items and folded a small mat. Mop works only as a damp touch up. Given the AA Recommended badge, no numeric score.
Android Authority
Tested in a split level home on hard floors and rugs: good vacuuming for the price, picked up greyhound hair, cleaned under a low entertainment center and finished a downstairs area in about 33 min with 77% battery left. It repeatedly nudged a mat and the mop is basic.

Questions buyers ask

How often do I change the dust bag?

Dreame says the 4 L bag holds up to 120 days of debris, based on its own lab calculation. Heavy use fills it sooner.

Does the dock wash the mop?

No. The dock only empties the bin and charges. The mop is a flat pad you wash yourself, and it does not lift over rugs (PCWorld).

Will it avoid cables and socks?

Not reliably. It has no camera, and Android Authority saw it push a tub and fold a small mat. Pick up the floor first.
