Researched by Riley Hart · updated Nov 2, 2026
Is the homerunPET CS106 worth it? A very roomy rotating box with an auto refill tank, built for homes with several or large cats. It costs $699 as of Nov 4, 2026, and Cats.com scored it 4.2/5.
A very roomy rotating box with an auto refill tank, built for homes with several or large cats. It is heavy at 44 lb and pricey, and it has no dedicated odor filter system, so smaller homes with one cat can spend less elsewhere.
Best for: multi cat homes with big cats. Skip if: you have little floor space or one small cat.

- 12 L waste bin
- Quiet, about 39 dB in reviewer tests
- Works with clay and tofu litters

- Internal filter swap is awkward
- No integrated step or mat for tracking
What independent reviewers found
- Tested with five cats, two near 15 lb; cats adapted at once, noise barely noticeable, sensors stopped the cycle when the tester came close; filter swap took about 20 minutes and app pairing needed a manual retry.
- TechnoMeow
- Tested a few weeks with two cats; no odor after cycles, cycle inaudible from about 5 ft, reinforced liner held up; one app glitch when too many commands were sent.
- CGMagazine · 9
- Tested several weeks with two cats; odor was not a problem despite no dedicated odor system, radar sensors were at times oversensitive, and a longhaired cat tracked litter since there is no step or mat.
- Cats.com · 4.2/5
