What reviewers found
Beatbot AquaSense X
- Digital Trends: Editors' Choice. A 193 min floor and wall session used 76% of the battery; the station ran six plus cycles with no filter handling and the bag about a quarter full; waterline scum was essentially gone after three cycles. Stair cleaning graded B. Source
- Bob Vila (4.6/5): Tested for nearly two months in two 30 x 12 ft Florida pools. Floor, wall and waterline cleaning were consistently excellent, but the robot is very heavy and the dock is large and needs a hose. Says many buyers could get 85 to 90% of the performance from a Sora 70. Source
Wybot S3
- Android Authority: Mapped the pool on the first run, climbed walls and scrubbed the waterline without getting stuck, and docked and emptied on its own. Docking was unreliable in a shallow area until the dock was moved to a spot with a longer approach; setup required getting into the pool. Source
- GadgetGuy (8.5/10): Up to 2.5 h runtime and about 3 h mains charging; transferred debris to the 10 L dock cassette and lifted above the waterline on wall runs. Finer 180 µm and 10 µm filters do not clear through the auto transfer and need hosing about every two weeks. Value scored 6 of 10. Source
