What reviewers found
Chasing Hydro 4 SE
- Happy TechFam (blog): Hands on long term use. Picked up large leaves, twigs, sand and silt, and walls and waterline looked clean. Path did not always follow the S pattern, some areas got covered twice, auto docking was not always reliable, and corners and steps needed occasional brushing. Bluetooth dropped underwater. - Greattips3s (blog): Claims two weeks of daily use in an 18 by 36 ft gunite pool with about 1 h 45 min cycles and under 3 kWh total power use. No byline, several unsourced and conflicting figures, and affiliate links, so treat it as weak evidence. Source
Wybot C2
- Bob Vila: Named Best for Fine Debris in a hands on roundup; about 2 h of battery life against a 185 min table figure, with ratings of 4.8 for ease of use, 4.5 for performance and 4 for value. Source
- The Pool Nerd: Labeled Pool Nerd Disapproved. In an 8 x 20 ft pool it ran 180 min floor only but about 60 min in Turbo, needed about 3 h to recharge after each cycle, and its weekly timer caps total runtime at 180 min. Suction of 3,592 GPH trailed corded Dolphin rivals. The site prefers corded robots. Source
