On paper this is one of the best values in robot vacuums: strong measured suction, perfect pet hair pickup and a full self cleaning dock for about $450. Vacuum Wars ranked it highly, but TechRadar got two units with navigation bugs and called it a dudbot. Buy it from a store with easy returns, and skip it if your floors are often cluttered.

A good fit for homes with low beds and sofas, since the 3.14 in body has no LiDAR turret. The dock does nearly everything, but you still fill and empty water tanks every few runs. Skip it if your floors are covered in black cables or if the store is out of stock and the price is high elsewhere.

Ecovacs Deebot T50 Max Pro Omni
- Vacuum Wars (3.19 Vacuum Wars stars): Measured 2.09 kPa and 28 CFM, 100% pet hair pickup, 77% embedded sand, 0% hair wrap, 171 on dried stains and 1,210 sq ft per charge. Obstacle avoidance scored 14 against a 17 average. Source
- TechRadar: Quiet first run at 61 dB and quick auto empty, but later runs cleaned half a room repeatedly, skipped mopping and failed custom room cleans on the original and a replacement unit. Reviewer called it a dudbot. Source
- BGR: After a month, no pet hair remained on rugs, the anti tangle brush stayed clear and the mop removed dried juice and jelly. The dock is large and the fan is loud at high suction. Source
Roborock Saros 10R
- BGR: Called it Roborock's best model at launch. It fit under sofas and beds, had about 57% battery left after about 80 minutes of vacuuming and mopping, and needed tank service every four to six cleanings. It tangled in cables until a no go zone was set. Source
- TechRadar: Noise measured 62 dB at source and 55 dB at 10 feet. Oats were cleared but flour stayed in floor seams on Max and Max+. It cleaned a syrup, soy sauce and milk spill in one pass on low water and mapped five areas in about 5 min. It rode over a 1 inch dog bone until Pet mode was turned on, and the dust bag filled in about three weeks. Source
- Vacuum Wars (3.64 Vacuum Wars stars): Picked up 80% of embedded sand from medium pile carpet against a 75% average and 92% of flattened pet hair, with 0% hair tangling. Avoided 24 of 24 obstacles.
