Matic is a different kind of robot: tall, camera guided, with a self cleaning roller mop, record suction in Vacuum Wars testing and maps kept on the device. It is slow, too tall for most furniture and needs a new bag about every two weeks. Buy it if you value privacy and deep cleaning over speed; skip it if you want a hands off dock.

Only worth it if you have very low beds or sofas that other robots cannot reach, since the 3.23 in body has no LiDAR turret. Tech Advisor found it fine for upkeep but weaker on carpet, and it costs more than newer slim Roborocks with stronger suction. Most buyers should look at the Qrevo Edge 2 or CurvX first.

What reviewers found

Matic Matic

  • Vacuum Wars (2.93 Vacuum Wars stars): Measured 8.11 kPa suction and 35 CFM airflow, 100% flattened pet hair pickup and 7% hair wrap, but only 14 of 24 obstacles avoided and 227 minutes on a floor plan that took average robots about an hour. Source
  • Domino: About three months of use: simple setup, smooth obstacle avoidance and automatic vacuum or mop switching by floor type, but the boxy body does not fit under all furniture and 55 dB felt too loud for night runs. Source

Roborock Qrevo Slim

  • Tech Advisor: Mostly good on vinyl but missed oats and flour, and left flour and oats on mid pile carpet even after a second max run. It bumped a low hearth and swallowed a large feather, but docked reliably and hair did not wrap the brushes. Source
  • TechRadar: Measured noise from about 60 dB on Quiet to 70 dB on Max+, and 44 to 58 dB when mopping. Turbo picked up all the flour and nearly all the oats, while Quiet missed many oats. Hot sauce came off after two passes. It handled thick rugs and raised thresholds but missed edges in zone mode and the area in front of the dock. Source
  • Vacuum Wars (3.21 Vacuum Wars stars): Picked up 80% of 2.5 inch pet hair on carpet against a 78% LiDAR robot average and scored 76% on carpet deep cleaning, the best among its peers. Scored 110 on the dried stain test and covered about 1,244 sq ft per charge. It mapped the test home in about 5 min. Raw suction and airflow readings were below average. Source
