What reviewers found

Shark Matrix Self Empty (RV2310AE)

  • Vacuum Wars: Called it Shark's best performing robot vacuum at the time. Covered about 1,000 sq ft per charge versus about 820 for a Roomba i3+ EVO, mapped about 350 sq ft in just over 5 min, and beat the Roomba on crevice pickup and carpet deep cleaning. Battery efficiency 1.29 min per 1%. Source
  • 9to5Toys: Tested the Shark Matrix with the bagless 45 day self empty base at a $499.99 MSRP (the review does not print a model number). LiDAR avoided objects taller than a few inches, stopping about an inch away, but did not detect cords. It was barely audible on normal mode and Matrix mode added about 5 min in the largest room. The app does not show live robot position. Source

  • Vacuum Wars (3.56 Vacuum Wars stars): Measured 0.95 kPa suction, 88% carpet deep clean, 91.5% pet hair pickup, 29% hair wrap and 20 of 24 obstacles avoided. Mopping used 3.4 to 5.3 g of water versus about 1 g average and floors stayed wet over 30 min. Source
  • Ideal Home: UK test: cleared rice and oats in 1 to 2 passes on hard floors, avoided a dumbbell, found four hidden stains on its first run and measured 69 to 74 dB. The 60 day bin was nearly full after two weeks. Source
