What Flourish 1 costs

Flourish 1 costs $3,555 as of October 21, 2026. That is the lowest price we have seen for a two arm home chore robot. Rival home humanoids often cost $20,000 or more, as Forbes noted at launch.

The reservation amount is confusing. Journal du Geek and Selectra both reported a $1,555 figure on the Flourish site. Selectra, which read the sale terms on October 4, 2026, said the terms state the full amount is charged at order. Check what your card is charged before you confirm. The $3,555 does not include taxes, customs duties or delivery.

There is also a running cost question. Flourish 1 uses a small Raspberry Pi computer on board and relies on cloud GPUs to train and run its more advanced skills. Owners can use their own GPU instead or pay for a Flourish plan. Humanoids Daily said the plan details were "still forthcoming," and Selectra said the sale price includes no subscription. Some directory listings show six months included and then $50 a month, but we could not confirm that price in the sale terms, so treat it as unconfirmed.

Shipping status as of October 2026

Flourish Robots came out of stealth on September 29, 2026 and opened preorders the same day. The first run is 50 numbered units, built by hand by a small team. Interesting Engineering, Humanoids Daily and Humanoid.guide all report deliveries starting in December 2026. The Robot Report said the company hopes to ship before Christmas.

As of October 21, 2026, no Flourish 1 has shipped to a customer, and Flourish has not said how many of the 50 units are left. Selectra reported that the full list of countries Flourish ships to appears only at checkout. The company is based in San Francisco and Paris.

If delivery slips, Selectra reported that the terms make Flourish propose a new date. You can accept it or cancel for a full refund. After a second delay, the order is cancelled and refunded automatically.

What Flourish 1 can do, according to Flourish

These are maker claims. No independent reviewer has tested a Flourish 1 in a real home as of October 21, 2026.

Flourish 1 does not come knowing your chores. You teach each one. You lay out the steps in the app in about 5 minutes, then show the robot the task by moving your phone, which drives its arms, from a few spots in the room. Flourish says that takes about 30 minutes, and the learned skill is ready about an hour later. After that you can run it by voice or on a schedule.

Example chores Flourish lists include putting away shoes, moving clothes to a laundry basket, picking up toys, wiping tables, watering plants, taking out trash, refilling a pet water bowl and scooping a litter box. Dishwasher loading is listed as teachable; unloading, table setting and food prep are planned.

  • Height 3 ft 7 in, reaches from the floor to about 35 in
  • Weight 44 lb, on a six wheel base
  • Two arms with two finger grippers and a wrist camera on each
  • Lifts up to 3.3 lb
  • Up to 12 hours of battery life (claim)
  • Small lidar near the floor, cameras and a microphone for voice requests
  • Raspberry Pi on board; needs a network connection for cloud AI

What it cannot do

Flourish is unusually upfront about limits. The Robot Report says it is not suited to dishes, washing the dog or detailed assembly, and has limited dexterity. It is not waterproof, cannot climb stairs, and Flourish advises against handing it breakable or valuable items. Journal du Geek reported it is not meant to watch children.

Flourish says a taught task works about 80% of the time, without saying how it measured that. It is also slow. Forbes, which saw demo video, called its motion "herky jerky," and the founder told Forbes it is slow by design to keep the price down.

Remote control, privacy and safety

Unlike some rivals, Flourish does not plan to use remote company workers to finish chores. Humanoid.guide and Humanoids Daily report that remote driving is possible, and you use it yourself to teach tasks, but the robot is designed to repeat taught tasks on its own.

Flourish 1 has cameras, lidar and a microphone, and its training and higher level AI run in the cloud. None of the launch coverage we found describes Flourish's privacy policy or how long video and motion data are kept. Read it before you pay.

Interesting Engineering reported the arms are designed to stop when a person enters their reach, and the lidar watches for obstacles. Flourish has not published safety certifications. Selectra reported the terms cap Flourish's liability at the price paid, with exceptions for injury caused by negligence or fraud, and that Delaware law applies.

Who should preorder and who should wait

Flourish 1 suits tinkerers who enjoy teaching a robot and can live with slow, 80% reliable pickup chores. The company was founded in January 2026, sells the robot without a warranty, and does not accept returns after delivery, so only buy with money you can afford to lose.

Most families should wait for the first owner reports after the December 2026 deliveries. If laundry is your main pain point, compare it with the $7,999 Weave Isaac 1.
