Humanoid robot for home: every model on sale or preorder in the US

A humanoid robot for home use is still mostly a preorder in the US: the 1X NEO ($20,000 or $499 a month) is the only full size home humanoid with a public price, and it had not shipped to customers as of October 15, 2026. Wheeled home robots with arms from Weave and SwitchBot are closer, and Unitree sells small humanoids aimed at developers.

Short answer

As of October 15, 2026, no full size humanoid that does household chores has been delivered to US customers. The 1X NEO is on preorder for $20,000 or $499 a month. Weave's Isaac 1 ($7,999 or $449 a month) and SwitchBot's Onero H1 (under $10,000, maker target) are wheeled robots with arms that promise laundry and tidying sooner. Tesla Optimus and Figure are not for sale to homes.

The short list: what you can actually order

Only two home chore robots with arms take US orders with a public price: the 1X NEO and the Weave Isaac 1. Neither had delivered to a customer's home in volume as of October 15, 2026. Weave's older Isaac 0, a folding station, is the one robot on this list that is shipping now, and only in California.

Everything else is either a developer platform (Unitree), a conversation robot (Realbotix), an announcement (SwitchBot, LG, Sunday) or a factory robot that is not sold to homes (Tesla, Figure).

1X NEO: the only full size home humanoid on preorder

1X sells NEO as Early Access ownership for $20,000, with a 3 year warranty and priority delivery, or as a $499 a month subscription. A $200 deposit holds a place on a waitlist and is refundable until 14 days after 1X sends an Order Invitation.

1X says NEO is 5 ft 6 in, weighs 66 lbs, runs about 4 hours per charge and is quiet at 22 dB. For chores it does not know, owners schedule a remote 1X operator to guide it. In the Wall Street Journal's October 2025 demo, every task was run by a human in a VR headset, according to Decrypt. As of October 15, 2026, 1X's order page still says only "US Deliveries start 2026." Full details are in our 1X NEO page.

Weave Isaac 1: wheeled, not humanoid, but built for laundry

Isaac 1 has a wheeled base, two arms and a torso that adjusts from 3 ft to 5 ft 9 in. Weave lists $7,999 up front or $449 a month, with a $250 deposit that is refundable until the robot ships. First shipments begin in fall 2026, California first, with broader US availability through 2027.

Weave says Isaac 1 is autonomous by default for its two routines, Laundry Flow and Daily Reset, and that teleoperation assistance steps in when needed. It lists an 8 hour battery and a 2 hour charge. Fox News reported that Weave's privacy policy allows its workforce to remotely access robot recorded visual content.

SwitchBot Onero H1 and LG CLOiD: announced at CES 2026

SwitchBot showed the Onero H1 at CES in January 2026. Engadget saw it pick up clothes and load a washer, but it took nearly two minutes to move one garment a few feet. SwitchBot told Engadget the price will be "less than $10,000" and that sales are expected toward the end of 2026. Folding, dishes and window washing appear only in its promotional video so far.

LG also showed its CLOiD home robot at CES 2026. T3 reported it has no official launch date and no price.

Unitree R1 and G1: real humanoids, not home helpers

Unitree's humanoids are the cheapest walking humanoids you can buy, but they are sold as developer and research platforms, not chore robots. RobotSourced listed the R1 from $4,900 in July 2026 and described it as aimed at the consumer and prosumer market; CompanionRater lists it near $5,900. The G1 starts at $13,500 for a Basic model without SDK access and runs to $73,900 for education versions.

Buy one if you want to program a robot. Do not buy one expecting it to fold laundry or tidy. RobotSourced also notes a US House committee asked for investigations into Unitree in May 2025, though no restrictions had been imposed as of March 2026.

Tesla Optimus and Figure: not for sale to homes

Tesla has published no price and takes no preorders. Musk has said Optimus could cost $20,000 to $30,000 and that Tesla could be selling humanoids to the public by the end of 2027. Those are promises, and earlier production targets were missed. See our Tesla Optimus page for the full timeline.

Figure has shown its humanoid folding towels with its Helix AI, but T3 reported no price or release date for homes. CompanionRater lists Figure 03, Apptronik Apollo and Boston Dynamics Atlas as deployed in warehouses and factories, not homes.

Five questions to ask before you pay a deposit

  • Is the deposit refundable, and until when? 1X refunds until 14 days after your invitation; Weave until the robot ships.
  • Who does the work when the robot gets stuck? Both 1X and Weave use remote human operators.
  • What can a remote operator see, and can you block rooms? 1X offers no go zones and face blurring.
  • What does it cost after year one? 1X has not published running costs; subscriptions run $449 to $499 a month.
  • Has an independent reviewer tested a delivered unit? For full size home humanoids, not yet.

Who should wait

If you need help at home this year, buy a single task robot that is shipping now: a robot mower, pool cleaner, window cleaner or self cleaning litter box. If laundry is the chore you hate most, our laundry folding robot guide compares the options. If you are buying for an older parent, a companion robot such as ElliQ is a different product category; see our elderly care robot guide.
