Buy the Dreame X60 Max Ultra Complete ($1,699.99) if you have pets, rugs or a cluttered home: it avoided 22 of 24 obstacles in Vacuum Wars testing, topped its ranking, and comes with a 3 year warranty against Roborock's 1 year. Buy the Roborock Saros 20 ($1,599.99) if your floors are mostly hard and you have low furniture or tall door thresholds; RTINGS found it far better on hard floors. Buy the Roborock Qrevo Curv 2 Flow ($999.99) if you want to spend $600 to $700 less and live in a mostly hard floor apartment; it scores highest of the three in our ranking (6.5 vs 6.3 and 6.2) because of its lower price.

Prices, specs and test results from our robot profiles, Roborock and Dreame US store pages and Vacuum Wars lab tests, checked October 21, 2026. Suction and threshold figures from the makers are claims. Our score is 70% independent reviews and 30% value, so cheaper robots gain ground.
Price and warranty
At list price the three sit $700 apart. The Qrevo Curv 2 Flow is $999.99, the Saros 20 is $1,599.99 and the Dreame X60 Max Ultra Complete is $1,699.99 on each brand's US store as of October 21, 2026. Both flagships drop often: Tom's Guide saw the Saros 20 at $1,424.99 during a Roborock sale, and Vacuum Wars and Tom's Guide list the Dreame on Amazon from $1,179.99 to $1,529.98.
Warranty is a clear win for Dreame. Dreame US gives 3 years on the X60 Max Ultra Complete. Roborock gives 1 year on both the Saros 20 and the Qrevo Curv 2 Flow.
Neither brand publishes replacement intervals for bags, pads or filters on its US store, so we do not estimate a 3 year running cost. Roborock dust bags cost $25.59 for six. Dreame sells a 3.2 L bag for $17.99 and an X60 accessory kit for $159.99.
Vacuuming and pet hair
In Vacuum Wars lab tests, the Saros 20 and the Dreame both removed 89% of sand from carpet, and the Curv 2 Flow removed 87%. On flattened pet hair the Dreame scored a perfect 100%, the Saros 20 88% and the Curv 2 Flow 77.5%. None of the three wrapped hair around the brush.
RTINGS reached a different view on pets. Its head to head comparison says the Saros 20 lifts pet hair from carpet better and leaves next to nothing behind on hard floors, while the Dreame gave middling hard floor results. Tom's Guide, on the other hand, found the Dreame picked up 100% of hair, cereal and seeds on hard floors.
The takeaway: both flagships are strong vacuums. The Saros 20 has the edge on hard floors in RTINGS testing, and the Dreame has the edge on carpet pet hair in Vacuum Wars testing.
Obstacles, clutter and pet accidents
This is where the Dreame pulls ahead. It avoided 22 of 24 objects in Vacuum Wars testing, against 17 for the Saros 20 and 16 for the Curv 2 Flow. RTINGS says the Dreame moves around furniture and obstacles more reliably and consistently avoids pet waste, while it says the Saros 20 cannot be trusted around pet accidents.
The Roborocks also caught things in other tests. CGMagazine and Tom's Guide saw the Saros 20 struggle with loose cables, and Gizmodo had the Curv 2 Flow swallow a USB C cord and a sock.
Mopping
Mopping reviews are mixed for all three. Tom's Guide gave the Dreame 5 stars and found it cleaned soy sauce, mayonnaise and dried mud without residue. Android Authority liked it on wood and tile but saw its pads pop off when it bunched up rugs, and it needed water swaps about every other day.
The Saros 20 scored above average on combined mopping at Vacuum Wars, but Tom's Guide found its pads left floors streaky and patchy, and one pad fell off crossing a cable.
The Curv 2 Flow uses a roller mop instead of pads. Gizmodo called it the most powerful robot mop it had tested where it can reach, but Vacuum Wars gave it a combined mopping score of 13.7 against a 22.75 category average, and several reviewers found it missed edges and corners. Its dock has no detergent tank, so you add floor cleaner to the water tank by hand.
Low furniture and thresholds
The Saros 20 and the Dreame are both just over 3.1 inches tall, so they slide under most couches and beds. The Curv 2 Flow stands 4.7 inches tall because of its LiDAR turret, and reviewers found it too tall for some low cabinets and couches.
For door thresholds, the Saros 20 climbed a 57 mm step in Vacuum Wars testing, the highest the site has recorded, and the Dreame climbed 51 mm. The Curv 2 Flow managed 20 mm. If your home has raised thresholds between rooms, skip the Curv 2 Flow.
Who should buy which
- Pets, rugs or a cluttered floor: Dreame X60 Max Ultra Complete.
- Want the longest warranty: Dreame X60 Max Ultra Complete, 3 years against 1 year.
- Mostly hard floors, low furniture and tall thresholds: Roborock Saros 20.
- Mostly hard floor apartment on a tighter budget: Roborock Qrevo Curv 2 Flow at $999.99.
- Low couches or high thresholds: skip the Curv 2 Flow, which is 4.7 inches tall and climbed only 20 mm.
- Want the least babysitting: none is perfect, but the Dreame's water tanks need frequent refills and the Roborocks catch cables, so tidy the floor first.
