Researched by Riley Hart · updated Oct 30, 2026
Is the Lymow One worth it? The Lymow One cuts more like a walk behind mower than a typical robot, and its tracks climb stumps, roots and steep banks. It costs $2,599 as of Nov 4, 2026, and 2 independent reviewers tested it.
The Lymow One cuts more like a walk behind mower than a typical robot, and its tracks climb stumps, roots and steep banks. It is heavy at about 78 lb, louder than disc mowers and needs an RTK antenna. Buy it for big, rough or hilly yards, not a small flat lawn.
Best for: large, rough or steep yards. Skip if: your lawn is small and flat or noise is a concern.

What independent reviewers found
- Tested on a yard with 32 oak trees. About one hour from unboxing to first mow, mapped 6,778 sq ft, and a full mow took about 178 to 185 minutes. It climbed a 6 in stump, threw a track on a 6 in curb and recovered, and stopped quickly for a foot in its path. Cut matched a walk behind mower on St. Augustine grass.
- Yanko Design
- One week of backyard testing on a pre production unit. Cleared 2 in obstacles and small steps, never got stuck and left clean stripes in long grass. Noticeably louder than rivals (68 dB on the spec sheet) and hard to move at 77.6 lb.

Does it need an RTK antenna?
Yes. It uses an RTK base station plus VSLAM cameras, so the antenna needs a clear view of the sky. No boundary wire is needed.
How loud is it?
Lymow does not list a figure. Freshly Charged cites 68 dB and both reviewers said it is louder than disc blade robot mowers.
What is the difference between the 5A and 10A versions?
The charger. Lymow says the 10A model charges to 90% in about 90 minutes and covers up to 1.73 acres a day, while the 5A model takes about 150 minutes and covers about 1.1 acres a day.
