Sunseeker X7
AWD RTK and vision mower with a 14 in floating deck for big yards
Researched by Riley Hart · updated Oct 30, 2026
Is the Sunseeker X7 worth it? The X7 is an AWD, wide deck RTK mower that suits large, uneven lawns where cut quality matters more than speed. Bob Vila scored it 4.6/5.
The X7 is an AWD, wide deck RTK mower that suits large, uneven lawns where cut quality matters more than speed. PCWorld and The Gadgeteer both praised the even cut, but setup and the app took patience, and PCWorld's unit could not handle a sharp side slope. Skip it if you want a polished app or fast mowing.
Best for: large uneven lawns. Skip if: you want a simple app or fast mowing.

What independent reviewers found
- On a quarter acre lot the 0.75 acre model avoided a drainage hole that trapped other mowers, even at night, and its floating plates evened out a bumpy lawn. Boundary setup took almost an hour; it could not climb a steep side slope; app was the main weakness.
- PCWorld (TechHive)
- Mapped about 484 m² with RTK; mowing it took just under two hours. Avoided a person's legs but not a softball, and needed no go zones under trees. Did not auto resume after charging. Ranked a close second to a Mammotion Luba.
- The Gadgeteer
- On about 0.25 acre with slopes, it handled sloped terrain without issues and ran about 1 hour per charge. Ratings: ease of use 4.5, cut quality 5, performance 5, durability 5, value 3.5.
