Quick verdict · checked Oct 30, 2026

The i110 is a proven wire free mower for a small, mostly flat lawn, and both testers praised its clean, even cut. It is front wheel drive, so slopes and curbs are its weak spots: PCWorld had it fall off curbs and Tom's Guide saw it veer on hills. Pick an AWD model if your yard is steep.

Best for: small flat lawns with open sky. Skip if: your yard has slopes over 30% or drop offs at the edges.

What independent reviewers found

Editor's Choice. Over a season it cut weekly yard work from about 3.5 hours to half an hour of edging and left no uncut strips. It got within about 4 in of tree bases, but veered on hilly sections and once fell into the street on a hand drawn boundary.
Tom's Guide
Setup took under an hour; the first map took about an hour of redos. It mowed about 700 sq ft in under 30 minutes on 25% of a charge, with cut quality matching a Husqvarna 435X AWD, but repeatedly fell off curbs and struggled on uneven ground with front wheel drive.
