What reviewers found

Aiper Scuba X1 Pro

  • The Pool Nerd: Labeled Pool Nerd Disapproved. Saw leaves swirl around the 7.75 in intake, larger debris missed and fine silt needing several cycles; 180 min runtime only in Eco mode and 3 to 4 h recharges. The site prefers corded robots. Source
  • Cybershack (8.7/10): Scored 8.7/10. Removed all debris from the test pool including tile line dirt, ran about 134 min on Auto with 28% battery left, took 5 h to charge, and the 3 µm sock was very dirty after one clean. Adaptive mode added about 20 min to cover curved fillets. Source

Aiper EcoSurfer S2

  • The Pool Nerd: Budget option at $299 with no approval badge; leaves often slipped past or sank, and the author suggests paying about $70 more for the Betta SE. Notes the S2 is not part of Aiper's Seagull Pro or Elite Pro recalls. Source
  • PCWorld: Cleared synthetic leaves in about 3.5 h with roughly 80% collected by the robot. 24 h of nonstop running used about 25% of the battery, and it kept a 10 h daily schedule through weeks of overcast weather. Slow, slightly underpowered, and the basket is hard to remove. Source
