What reviewers found

Beatbot AquaSense 2

  • The Pool Nerd: Labeled Pool Nerd Disapproved: barely finished one full cycle, suction felt weak, missed corners and steps, and debris fell back out when lifted. Affiliate site that favors corded robots. Source
  • Bob Vila (4.5/5): Over three months in a debris heavy Florida pool it climbed walls, scrubbed a couple of inches above the waterline and cut manual cleaning to almost zero; it cannot clean stairs and misses upper tile. Source

Dolphin (Maytronics) Nautilus EON 120d

  • The Pool Nerd: Notes the EON line cleans water as shallow as about 8 in with better than basic mesh filtering, but still requires hooking, lifting, drying and charging; Clicker retrieval is mentioned for the 120d. Source
  • PCWorld: Tested the EON 120d: DebrisLock filter trapped all types of debris and coverage reached about 95% on the longest cycle, but emptying the filter was a huge pain, it missed corners, failed to start twice at first, and often flipped onto its back. Source
