What reviewers found
Ecovacs GOAT A2000 LiDAR PRO
- EFTM (90%): On a narrow, sloped yard with a rock wall it set up easily and built a detailed 3D LiDAR map. Trimmer worked on clear edges but missed square corners. It often got stuck on the sloped edge by the wall until no go zones were added. Sub scores: design 93%, usability 94%, performance 86%, value 87%. Source
- Witchdoctor: On a muddy, dog worn lawn in Wellington it mapped from one boundary walk, mowed the whole section on one charge, and the TruEdge trimmer cleaned recessed brick borders. Avoided small and medium objects with dogs nearby; rear wheels spun in deep mud. Source
Segway Navimow X315
- Notebookcheck: Stable RTK and straight passes on two test areas. Detected a hedgehog dummy and a hose but missed a small tennis ball once in three tries. Ran about 2 hours per charge, recharged in about 1 hour, measured about 55 dB. Left at least 10 cm uncut at edges and did not reliably climb a 50% ramp. Verdict: almost perfect. Source
- PC-Welt: Editors' Choice. On a 120 m² lawn it set up in minutes, mowed in changing lanes and reached edges well, with rear wheels gripping on gravel. First passes left narrow uncut strips that cleared on later runs. Random obstacles were detected reliably; about 60 min to charge. Source
