A strong roller mop robot for homes with high thresholds, now far below its launch price. Notebookcheck found its roller mopping more thorough than spinning pads and its obstacle detection very good. Skip it if you have a large home, since tested coverage per charge was modest.

A good fit for homes with low beds and sofas, since the 3.14 in body has no LiDAR turret. The dock does nearly everything, but you still fill and empty water tanks every few runs. Skip it if your floors are covered in black cables or if the store is out of stock and the price is high elsewhere.

  • Notebookcheck: Thorough hard floor cleaning, excellent corner cleaning and no hair tangling. Roller mopping beat dual pad robots. Detected a shoelace and thin brick stacks. Climbed edges up to 4.5 cm. Ended a 50 m² run with 34% battery, about 60 m² per charge. Source
  • Pro Tool Reviews: Hands on look citing a $1,499 retail price for its bundle. Noted the retractable LiDAR for low furniture and the 3.15 in StepMaster climb claim. Cons were the premium price and the number of moving parts. Source

Roborock Saros 10R

  • BGR: Called it Roborock's best model at launch. It fit under sofas and beds, had about 57% battery left after about 80 minutes of vacuuming and mopping, and needed tank service every four to six cleanings. It tangled in cables until a no go zone was set. Source
  • TechRadar: Noise measured 62 dB at source and 55 dB at 10 feet. Oats were cleared but flour stayed in floor seams on Max and Max+. It cleaned a syrup, soy sauce and milk spill in one pass on low water and mapped five areas in about 5 min. It rode over a 1 inch dog bone until Pet mode was turned on, and the dust bag filled in about three weeks. Source
  • Vacuum Wars (3.64 Vacuum Wars stars): Picked up 80% of embedded sand from medium pile carpet against a 75% average and 92% of flattened pet hair, with 0% hair tangling. Avoided 24 of 24 obstacles. Cleared 20 mm and 26 mm boards but failed a single 36 mm threshold. Estimated about 1,389 sq ft per charge. The onboard bin is 270 ml. Source
