The EVO is the cheapest way into a Litter-Robot and fits smaller rooms than the Litter-Robot 4 or 5. It is rated for only two cats up to 19 lb, so big cats and busy multi cat homes should look at the larger models. It needs a flat, hard floor to avoid position errors.

What reviewers found
Whisker Litter-Robot 5 Pro
- Cats.com: Named Overall Best in its October 2026 roundup of 38 tested models. Source
- Cats.com (4.6/5): Odor control and sifting matched the Litter-Robot 4; reviewer could not test facial recognition without Whisker+ and questioned whether cameras justify the extra $100. Source
- 9to5Toys: Quieter and sturdier than the Litter-Robot 4 with better odor control; bin full alert sometimes fired at about half capacity and urine was sometimes labeled as solid waste. Source
Whisker Litter-Robot EVO
- Vetstreet: A veterinarian used it for about two weeks in a multi cat home and praised odor control and automation, but said the Litter-Robot 5 Pro would have suited her household better. Source
- TechnoMEOW: Used for a couple of months with three or more cats; setup was quick, but a mat edge caused a position fault error and app disconnects were more frequent than on the Litter-Robot 4 until a firmware update. Source
