Figure 03 price, preorder and availability (October 2026)
As of October 21, 2026, Figure has not published a price for Figure 03 and there is no preorder, deposit or waitlist for homes. CEO Brett Adcock has floated a home lease of about $500 to $600 a month, but that is a spoken idea, not an offer you can sign up for.
Researched by Riley Hart · updated Oct 21, 2026 · How we research
You cannot buy or reserve a Figure 03 as of October 21, 2026. Figure has published no price, and its site offers no preorder, deposit or waitlist for home buyers. In May 2026, CEO Brett Adcock said you could lease a Figure 03 for "about $600 per month," and in October 2026 Forbes reported he floated $500 to $600 a month, but no lease program has opened. Adcock now suggests robots could enter homes as early as 2027. Today Figure 03 works in commercial settings, not in customer homes.

What Figure 03 costs
There is no official price as of October 21, 2026. Figure has not posted a purchase price, a lease price or an order page for Figure 03. Robozaps, which tracks Figure closely, says the "$20,000" number seen online has no traceable source, and neither do other figures like $130,000 or $24,760.
The only price signal comes from Adcock himself. On May 6, 2026, Wallstreetcn reported him saying, "You can lease a Figure 03 for about $600 per month," and he compared it to leasing a car. Forbes Italia, in an October 12, 2026 article by Anna Tong, reported that he floated a rental of perhaps $500 to $600 a month. Neither is a published offer. There are no terms, no deposit and no sign up for a lease.
If a $600 a month lease does arrive, that would be about $7,200 a year. For comparison, 1X sells NEO for $20,000 or $499 a month with a $200 deposit as of October 2026.
Can you preorder Figure 03?
No. As of October 21, 2026, Figure offers no preorder, deposit or waitlist for home buyers. Robozaps confirmed in July 2026 that Figure's product page has no way to reserve a unit, and Forbes Italia reported no consumer launch or sales date in October 2026.
Be careful with any website that asks for money to reserve a Figure 03. Figure has not opened a reservation program.
When will Figure 03 come to homes?
Figure has not given a home delivery date. The timeline has slipped more than once. In February 2025, Adcock said home alpha tests would start in 2025. In October 2025, he told TIME, "We think we can get there in 2026, but it's a big push." In October 2026, Forbes Italia reported he now says Figure robots could enter homes as early as next year, meaning 2027.
On September 18, 2026, Figure released Helix 2.5, its newest robot AI. Figure says it rented 30 homes in the Bay Area and the robots did tasks like tidying a living room, folding towels and making a bed without training in those homes. In Figure's own test, a robot using its new training data succeeded on 56% of first try attempts, scored all or nothing. Those are Figure's numbers. ExplainX noted no outside group had reproduced them, and some viewers said the video cut away before tasks finished.
So even by Figure's own count, a robot in an unfamiliar home finished a chore about half the time. That is real progress, but it is not ready for paying customers.
What Figure 03 can do, according to Figure
These are maker claims. No independent reviewer has tested a Figure 03 in a customer's home as of October 21, 2026.
Figure announced Figure 03 on October 9, 2025 as a robot designed for the home as well as for work. It has soft, washable textile coverings instead of hard shells, runs Figure's Helix AI, and charges itself by stepping onto a wireless pad.

Where Figure 03 actually works today
Figure 03's paid work so far is commercial. In June 2026 BMW said Figure 03 would start a parts sorting job at its Spartanburg, South Carolina plant, after an earlier Figure 02 pilot. Catalyst Brands signed a deal in May 2026 for a distribution center in Reno, Nevada. Figure has not said how many robots are at either site.
Wikipedia reports Figure had delivered over 350 Figure 03 units by April 2026, mostly to its own teams, and Adcock said about 740 robots were running by the end of June. Forbes Italia reported Figure has built roughly 1,000 humanoids, but that it is unclear how many are in use, and that BMW described its earlier pilot as two or three robots.
In the home, the only independent look so far is TIME's October 2025 visit. TIME saw Figure 03 load a dishwasher and clear a table, but it had trouble folding T shirts. At Adcock's house, one robot loaded dishes well, one dropped laundry, and a human had to start the washing machine.
Teleoperation, privacy and safety
Adcock told TIME that Figure does not remote control its robots in demos. TIME did see people in VR headsets recording themselves doing chores to create training data for Helix. Figure has not said whether a home robot would ever be guided by a remote human, the way 1X does with NEO.
On privacy, Figure plans to use data from home robots to train future models. A Figure spokesperson told TIME it intends to detect, blur and replace personal information in that data, much like Google Street View blurs faces. Figure has not published a consumer privacy policy for Figure 03 as of October 2026.
On safety, Adcock called home safety "maybe one of the hardest problems we face" and said the robot is designed so people can overpower it. In November 2025, Figure's former head of product safety, Robert Gruendel, sued, alleging he was fired after warning that the robots were "powerful enough to fracture a human skull." Figure says he was fired for poor performance and calls the claims false. These are contested allegations, and Forbes Italia reported the case is ongoing as of October 2026. No Figure 03 injury has been publicly reported.
Should you wait for Figure 03?
If you want a home humanoid soon, Figure 03 is not an option to plan around yet. There is no price, no order and no date. Watch for three things: a real order page with terms, a published privacy policy, and independent reviews of robots in real homes.
If you want something you can reserve today, 1X NEO takes a $200 refundable deposit. If you want a walking humanoid you can actually receive now, Unitree's R1 ships from about $5,900, though it cannot do chores. See our list of every home humanoid on sale or preorder.
Questions people ask
How much does the Figure 03 cost?

In TIME's October 2025 visit it loaded a dishwasher and cleared a table but struggled with T shirts. In Figure's own September 2026 test across 30 rented homes, it finished tasks on the first try about 56% of the time. That is a maker result, not an independent test.
