What reviewers found

Prusa Research CORE One+ (Gen 2)

  • Tom's Hardware (Editor's Choice): Tested the original CORE One. It ran about 15 to 20% faster than the MK4S and printed a speed Benchy in 28 minutes. A five color MMU3 print took 14 h 32 min with 100 g of waste, versus 20 h 57 min and 264 g on the H2D. Source
  • CGMagazine (9/10): Tested the original CORE One and called it one of the best printers the reviewer had used. It was quiet in an office and handled ABS and ASA in the enclosure. Missing out of the box multi color and better camera hardware. Source

Sovol SV08 Max

  • Tom's Hardware: Benchy in 10 min 45 s; an ABS container took 5 h 6 min at 140 mm/s. A large dragon took 2 days 8 h after five failures and a 0.2 mm Z offset fix. Called it a niche machine that fills its niche well. Source
  • 3D Tech Valley: Claims 200+ hours of printing. A 300 mm calibration cube measured within 0.2 mm and the full bed scan took about 80 s. Rated it Highly Recommended but noted 2 to 3 h of assembly and a Klipper learning curve. Source
