As of October 28, 2026, you cannot buy a UniX AI Panther in the US, and UniX AI has not published a price. The Chinese company launched Panther in April 2026 and claims it is the first humanoid deployed in real, unmodified homes, doing chores like making breakfast, cleaning and tidying. R&D World reported UniX AI is targeting the US, Europe and the Middle East, but it gave no sale date. Fox News wrote in April that the story "is not about buying one today." An independent tracker found no verified customer deliveries as of August 2026.

What the UniX AI Panther costs
UniX AI has not published a price. Interesting Engineering, Fox News and R&D World all left price out of their launch coverage, and the Humanoid Reality Index says it checked the maker's channels and found no price as of August 18, 2026.
There is also no deposit, waitlist or order page for US buyers that we could find. If a site claims to sell a Panther with a set price, be careful. UniX AI has not announced a consumer sales program.
Can you buy a Panther in the US?
Not yet. R&D World reported that UniX AI is targeting the US, Europe and the Middle East, but gave no consumer sale date or timeline. Fox News, writing on April 7, 2026, said UniX AI was testing Panther in real homes and service settings and that "it is not about buying one today."
Interesting Engineering reported on April 9, 2026 that global deliveries had begun, quoting CEO Fred Yang: "we have already scaled from lab validation to mass delivery." It did not name countries, buyers or dates. The Humanoid Reality Index, last verified August 18, 2026, lists zero deployment, pilot or customer events and rates Panther as announced without public hardware evidence.
So the company says it is delivering, but nobody outside UniX AI has shown a Panther working in a paying customer's home.
What Panther does, according to UniX AI
These are maker claims. No independent reviewer has tested Panther in a home.
Panther is a full size humanoid upper body on a wheeled base, not a walking robot. UniX AI calls it its third generation design, evolved from its Wanda 2.0 robot. R&D World reported that Wanda 2.0 passed 100 deliveries a month in 2025.
- Tasks shown: waking users, making beds, preparing breakfast, cleaning rooms and organizing items
- Also shown working some home appliances and doing laundry tasks
- 34 joints, with what UniX AI calls the first mass produced 8 degree of freedom arms
- Adaptive grippers for dishes, clothes, small appliances and cleaning tools
- Four wheel steering and drive, top speed 2 m/s
- Torso lifts 80 cm to reach high shelves or the floor
- Cameras, depth sensors and optional lidar for mapping and avoiding obstacles
- Software called UniFlex, UniTouch and UniCortex for learning, touch and task planning
What reporters actually saw
Coverage so far is based on UniX AI's videos and press releases. R&D World said the claims come from the company and its own YouTube video, with no third party testing. UniX AI says its real home tests were done "without staging or scripting," but no outlet has confirmed that on site.
UniX AI says Panther did a live, fully autonomous tea making routine at the Morgan Stanley China Summit on March 31, 2026, according to the company's own release as logged by the Humanoid Reality Index. The articles we read do not say whether Panther ever uses remote human operators. Treat the videos as company demos until independent reviewers report back.
What Panther could cost over time
With no price, lease plan or warranty, there is nothing to add up. Questions to ask if UniX AI opens US sales: Who repairs it in the US? Does it need a paid software plan? Where is home video stored? Interesting Engineering noted experts still see big hurdles for home robots, including clutter, lighting, soft objects, battery life, cost, safety and reliability.
Alternatives you can buy now
The closest thing you can order in the US is Weave Isaac 1, also a wheeled robot with arms aimed at laundry and tidying. The Gadgeteer reported it costs $7,999 or $449 a month, with first California shipments planned for fall 2026. 1X NEO, a walking humanoid, costs $20,000 or $499 a month with a $200 refundable deposit.
For daily cleaning now, a robot vacuum and mop like the Roborock Saros 20 does the floors with no wait. See our full list of home humanoids.
